1. Who we are
This policy explains how Better Soluções e Consultoria de Negócios LTDA ("Better"), Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 48.193.784/0001-48, headquartered at Av. Paulista, 1.106, 16th floor, Edifício Elijass Gliks-Manis, Bela Vista, São Paulo, SP, Brazil, handles the personal data of people who visit betterconsultoria.com, in its Portuguese, English and Spanish versions.
Better is the controller of this data under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, "LGPD"). For any matter about personal data, contact us at contato@betterconsultoria.com.
2. What data we collect
Data you give us
Contact form (Contact page, each solution's page and team member cards): name, work email, company, job title, phone, country, solution of interest and the message you write. Only name, email, solution and message are required.
Booking a conversation (Schedule page): your answers to Katrina's questions (solution of interest, company size, industry, main challenge and timeline), plus name, email, company, job title, WhatsApp and the time you choose.
Video request by email (Start page): the email you type and the problem you picked in the quick diagnosis.
Data collected automatically
- IP address, used to limit repeated form submissions (spam protection). In the contact form, the IP is stored with the message. In bookings, video requests and the link pages' records, we keep only a code derived from the IP (a hash) that does not reveal the address, for one hour at most.
- Browsing records on the social media link pages (Social hub and Start): which button or problem was tapped, which social network the person came from (for example, Instagram), language, device type (phone or computer), the page and a random code created for each visit. These records do not include name, email or IP.
- Google Analytics data, only if you accept analytics cookies (see section 6).
Team member cards
Better team members who have a digital card on the site enter their own name, photo, job title, a description of their work and their professional contacts. This data is published with each person's permission, and the cards are hidden from search engines. Each person can ask for their card to be taken down at any time.
What we do not collect
The site does not ask for sensitive data (such as health, religion, racial origin or biometrics), has no visitor accounts or comments, and is not intended for people under 18.

4. Who we share data with
We use providers that process data on Better's behalf, each only for the task described:
- Hostinger: website hosting and email service.
- Google (Google Sheets): stores the records of contacts, bookings, video requests and link page visits.
- Google Analytics: visit statistics, only with your consent.
- Cal.com: calendar for conversations booked on the Schedule page. It creates the meeting and sends the invitation to your email.
- n8n: automation tool that receives the forms, sends the emails and stores the records.
- OpenAI: reviews and translates the texts on team member cards. It receives no visitor data.
Some pages show content from other sites, such as Google Fonts, Font Awesome icons and the photos from our Instagram on the Content page. To show this content, these services receive your IP and may use their own cookies, as if you were visiting their site.
The WhatsApp, Instagram and LinkedIn buttons take you to those companies' services. What you do there follows each company's privacy policy.
We may also share data when the law or an authority requires it.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers (such as Google, Cal.com, OpenAI and Meta) store or process data outside Brazil, mainly in the United States. Better makes these transfers under the cases in article 33 of the LGPD, based on the contractual safeguards these providers offer.
6. Cookies
On your first visit, a notice at the bottom of the screen asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you answer, no analytics cookie is set. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer.
| Name | Type | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| bt_consent | Necessary | Stores your answer to the cookie notice | 180 days |
| bt_lang_pref | Necessary | Stores the language you chose | 1 year |
| _ga and _ga_* | Analytics (Google Analytics) | Tell visitors apart and count visits and page views | Up to 2 years |
The site also keeps some data in the browser tab's storage, deleted when the tab is closed: where the visit came from (for up to 30 minutes), whether the opening screen was already shown and whether the Katrina assistant's tip already appeared. Only the visit's origin leaves your browser, together with a booking or video request.
If you decline analytics cookies, Google Analytics may still receive cookieless signals that do not identify you, used only to estimate traffic volume.
People who sign in to the site's admin area also get WordPress login cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
7. How long we keep data
- Contacts and bookings: 2 years after the last contact, or for as long as a business relationship that comes from them lasts.
- Video requests and browsing records: 1 year.
- Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.
- Code derived from the IP, for spam control: 10 minutes to 1 hour.
After these periods, the data is deleted or anonymized, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
8. Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18), you can ask Better at any time for:
- confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
- correction of incomplete, wrong or outdated data;
- anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed against the law;
- portability of your data to another provider;
- deletion of data processed based on your consent;
- information on who we share your data with;
- information on the option not to consent and what that implies;
- withdrawal of consent;
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest, such as the sales follow-up after a video request.
To do so, write to contato@betterconsultoria.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We reply within 15 days.
You can also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) at gov.br/anpd.
9. Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) on every page. Access to the spreadsheets, the automation and the calendar is limited to the Better staff who need it, and the forms are protected against bots and mass submissions. No system is fully immune to incidents. If one happens that could bring you significant risk, we will notify you and the ANPD, as the law requires.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows the version in force. If a change affects how we use data you gave us with your consent, we will ask for your consent again.
